You have thousands of options to play your cool chords. Was it something experienced by someone you know? Rearranging of the phrasing, music or order of words, to give meaning, rhyme and continuity.
The lyric ideas could form a title or a hook for your song. Being creative does not necessarily mean artful or esoteric. You can use this type of generic chord progression in your own songs.
You have some ideas now, now pick the best. Look for stories within strangers and write. These are protected by the copyright law. Why are they saying it? Or you can take a few lessons from a local music teacher.
Poetry, as beautiful as it may be, does not always fit rhythmically into a melody. Think of your song as a building people enter. Sometimes we simply underestimate our imaginative capabilities.

Not every chord you play has to be the final one. Analyse their lyrics to see how the songs are structured. Listen to a recent hit song and learn to play along on either guitar or keyboards.
